PROPERTY TAXES, BUSINESS CLIMATE & AFFORDABILITY
New Jersey's property taxes are the highest in the nation and our state is ranked one of the worst places to do business. Rich Super’s top priority is to make New Jersey more affordable by both growing the economy and lowering property taxes. As a small business owner himself, Rich knows first hand how New Jersey needs to be business friendly, and how important it is to let the nation know that New Jersey is OPEN for business. He pledges to support legislation that decreases, not increases, the burden on hardworking New Jersey taxpayers.
NO TAX INCREASES
Rich Super pledges to NEVER support a tax increase. He will fight to lower the corporate tax rate in NJ so businesses will stop leaving the Garden State and start moving in to harvest the rewards of a business friendly environment. More business means more jobs, and with a larger tax base, lower taxes overall.
PERSPECTIVE ON COVID-19 VACCINES
One of the beautiful things about living in America is the freedom to choose. Rich Super believes everyone should have a choice of whether they receive the Covid-19 vaccine(s) and booster. No government should ever be able to compel anyone on what they put in their body.
REIGNING IN SPENDING
No more earmarks. Rich Super pledges to look spending cuts across the board in the state of New Jersey, leaving no stone unturned in the search to root out wasteful spending, pet projects and earmarks for programs that circumvent the ability of the Administration to control spending.
As a businessman, Rich Super knows his way around a balance sheet. Bottom line - he pledges to explore zero-based budgeting, where we earn our spending every single year. By running New Jersey like a business, Rich will get New Jersey back on track, and stop the never ending tax increases that plague our great state.
GET BACK TO WORK
Running a business is work, and Rich wants New Jersey residents to get back to work. He endorses opting out of the Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation program in order to incentivize people to reenter the workforce and stimulate New Jersey’s economy.
Rich pledges to instead of subsidizing unemployment, he will utilize government resources to ensure that people have the opportunity and ability to return to work.
ESTABLISH TERM LIMITS
To restore a culture of integrity in Trenton, Rich Super supports term limits. Change is a necessary part of business, yet without term limits, our politicians, and our policies, rarely change. The political machine in Trenton needs a reboot, starting with Rich Super, a businessman with a fresh perspective and a new point of view. If elected, he will go to bat for hardworking NJ citizens and promote meaningful policy change.
NO MASK MANDATES
Rich Super believes in personal freedom, individual rights, and the right of parents to make the call for what’s best for their family. He supports legislation that ensures our Governor cannot unilaterally implement mask mandates, and is putting as much pressure as possible on the NJEA and related Trenton lobbyists and groups to unmask our children for the upcoming fall 2021 school year.
SAFEGUARD OUR ENVIRONMENT
Spending a lot of time at the Jersey shore, I understand the importance of safe drinking water, clean oceans and waterways, and open space preservation are imperative. Rich Super will be a GREEN assemblyman.
NO MORE SANCTUARY STATE
We are a nation of immigrants, but also one of laws. Rich Super will allow local law enforcement agencies to work with federal agencies (e.g., ICE) to address illegal immigration. Murphy said, that New Jersey aspires to be "the California of the East Coast." New Jersey can’t afford this!
